The Social Determinants of Health link explores current insights and understanding about why some people are sick whilst others are healthy. The Primary Health Care link explores what PHC is, and how it can be a means of health professionals retaining their power, or a vehicle for communities.

Indigenous Health and Workers Health links explore the health experience of particular populations. Indigenous people in Australia have been overwhelmed numerically, economically and to some extent culturally by the dominant capitalist settler society. Workers are defined in their relationship with their employer. Neither share power equitably in these relationships.

International Health link examines the experience of various countries in their struggle for better health.

We have linked with a range of other sites that offer insights into these broad questions, and are planning to facilitate a forum where particular issues can be discussed, ideas shared and controversies debated.
